The proposed route the organizers shared with the city of Seattle:

Why is it called “No Kings”?

Previously, protesters have called for Trump to be “dethroned” as they compare his actions to those of a king and not a democratically elected president.

President Trump wants to be a dictator,” organizers said. “But Americans bow to No Kings: He’s using orders, intimidation, and the full force of the federal government to crush dissent-seeking to control what schools teach, what news and voices we hear, and weaponizing the Department of Justice against his critics.”This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
