Graduated Reentry Section 2 - Kennewick, WA

The Community Corrections Division has a permanent, full time Corrections Specialist 3 (CS3) opening available. This position, SH50, is with Graduated Reentry and is located at the Kennewick Office, in Kennewick, WA.

The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work hours are determined by unit needs and are at the discretion of the unit supervisor.   If you are currently working an alternate work schedule, please be aware that this position may not be able to honor that schedule. Qualifications

In accordance with Section 2 Supplemental DOC Article 4.7 of the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) 2025-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), this job opening is available to internal transfer candidates ONLY. Employees who meet the following criteria may apply: 

  • You are requesting a transfer under Section 2 Supplemental DOC Article 4.7 of the WFSE CBA.
  • You are a permanent DOC employee.
  • You currently hold permanent status in the job class being recruited for in this job posting.

Required qualifications:

A total five (5) years of professional case management experience in adult or juvenile corrections or closely related field which includes at least three:
